And again termination of the fine proceedings – this time for unknown reasons
From time to time it happens that fine proceedings are discontinued without any justification. This was the case here with regard to a speeding violation in Hesse, which our client was charged with.
Following our objection, the proceedings were discontinued by the Kassel Regional Council in accordance with §§ 46 OWiG in conjunction with 170 StPO – i.e. for lack of sufficient suspicion.
Even if the background here is unclear, it is therefore regularly worthwhile not simply accepting penalty notices.
