Allegation: Violations of the dangerous goods ordinance
Our client was accused of various violations of the dangerous goods ordinance. The Bavarian Police Administration Office assumed that there was a multiplicity of offenses, which would mean that all individual offenses would be added together according to the catalog of fines.
However, since the violations all occurred during the same trip, we were able to convince the district court that this was a case of a single offense, so that the fine was reduced from the original €860.00 to €400.00.
So again – you don’t have to accept everything that the fine authorities “decide”.
